dvi to vga potential issue? (gurus please)

hey guys...
so, my vsl runs like butter
Dell xps 1730 2.5ghz dual core 4bg ram Vista 32 service pack1
Nvidea 8700 512
1.9 (beta 3) 1.1 vsl(2)
DVI out to VGA
Firewire 800 Wd studio

so, at home... on my lil flatscreen (pioneer 50inch plasma)
I test everything, ya know make sure the videos look good ect.

at work they have a VGA plug sittin in the booth running to all there screens
(1 hd projection 15x10ft, 12 50 inch, 2 65 inch)

now, when spinnin videos at home they move very fluid like (dvi to dvi)
at work (dvi to dvi/vga converter to vga) (simular to this www.amazon.com but not that, mine was about 30.00 and seems a bit higher quality)
at work I wouldnt say they are "choppy" on the screens... they just arent
super smooth, I am also get this slight, very fast occasion black bar flicker at
about mid screen. (the only time Ive seen this before is on my old computer
when Id resize a file to fit the screen in a media player)
they are displaying on my VSL pop up VERY VERY smooth.
so, this must be happening AFTER the program right?
(if the sceeens on my ssl display are not having these issues)

is this little converter part of the problem? can it be beefed up, or is there
A better solution...could it be my codec?

Like I said, everything seems fine on the actual computer screen, and at home
on the plasma, even on my other moitor (that was svid to svid)

thier system also will run virtual dj video which is hardwired in
(so I cant see how its done) and that runs all its videos very smoothly
(but I tried it on mine, and I still got the "not so fluid" presentation on all the
screens in the club

any advice would be appreciated
(these are things only I, and a few other people seem to notice only after I point out)

Pick 2 is played by selecting two numbers. Each from two sets of 36 numbers ranging from 1 to 36. Your whole game and chance of victory depends on the chosen numbers. Do it very cleverly. Payout for a $10 bet is $1600 if both numbers match with the drawn numbers. Payout ratio is $160 to $1. You can win big by playing wisely.

To resolve video playback issues at work, check if your DVI to VGA converter is the culprit and consider using a different one or connecting directly with DVI. Ensure your graphics drivers and codecs www.choice-advantages.com are up-to-date and check your media player settings. Lowering video resolution might also help. Consulting with your IT department could provide additional insights.
