DDJ REV1 not being recognized by Serato

Hi,
I just bought the Rev1 and was setting up on my MacBook Pro (2017 intel core i5)
I downloaded Serato 3.0 just fine, no problems up and running smoothly.
I hook up the Rev1 and it powers up BUT it's not being recognized and/or working with Serato. Basically it's just powered up with the 2 hot cue buttons turned on.

I read online & on YouTube to check in the midi configurator BUT even there I see no Rev1 driver present.

Unsure what the problem is I did a check and tried installing dj Lite on my mid 2014 MacBook Pro and it installed and the Rev1 works PERFECTLY. The midi driver also shows up in midi configurator on my 2014 MacBook.

Anyone know how I can fix this on the 2017 MacBook Pro?

I forgot to mention... the 2017 MacBook is running Monterey and the 2014 is running Big Sur.

On the 2017 Macbook with Monterey I tried installing Lite 1.5.7 no luck, 1.6.2 no luck, 3.0 no luck

It's possible that the versions of Lite you tried to install are not compatible with Monterey. You may want to check the system requirements for each version of Lite to ensure that they are compatible with Monterey.

Alternatively, you can try installing Lite on your 2014 Macbook running Big Sur to see if it works. If it does, you may want to consider upgrading your 2017 Macbook to Big Sur as well.

Ensure that your DDJ REV1 controller is properly connected to your computer via USB cable. Make sure the USB cable is securely plugged into both the controller and your computer's USB port.
