Yesterday we received our first controller, a Pioneer FLX4.

I set it up on my daughters Mac, which was running High Sierra.
Because of the old Mac Operating system, I needed to download an older version of Serato (1.4.6)

I'm unable to get the controller and computer to sync in Serato, and I guess it's because I'm using an older version of Serato with a relatively new controller.

So I tried to install the latest version Serato on my Mack book pro with the latest OS (Ventura).
However, the installation fails, over and over.

I've tied the fix that recommends going to System prefs / Privacy & Security / Full disk access / Installer, but this doesn't help.

Believe it or not, I'm having the exact same issues with Rekordbox.

This is my daughters birthday present, and I really want to get it set up for her.
Can anyone please help?
