Sample 2.0 analyze file bugs

Hi,

I love the new sample version, opens up a lot of possibilities, but sadly when i close my DAW and reopen the project, the analyzed (stems) file doesn't open up like it was. I generally has a lot of noise and the instrument separation is messed up.

I'm on Presonus Studio One v6.5 (latest), I tried on v.5.x as well, same problem, it's a bug with either vst3 or au versions (on macos ventura 13.6).

So here's how I had it set up:

I opened the same full track sample on 3 sample instances, to separate drums, vocals and music stems.

I see that one single file is created for the analyze... but maybe it's where the problem lies, as maybe only one analyze is being done on the file, even though i had 3 instances of the plugin.

Hope this can get checked out/fixed soon.

Hey Immoler,

That's strange, this is the first time i've heard a report of an audio quality issue like this with Stems. When you Stem a file with Serato we only create a single stem file which contains all the stems needed - so this isn't the problem, and works with multiple plugin instances of Serato Sample.

I'm not sure it's a Serato Sample issues or something with your DAW/environment. But let's see if we can find out..

• When you reopen the project, is it only the Serato Sample instances that play back with noise? Does everything else in your DAW project play back normally?
• Does this happen with every project that you use Stems with or only some?
• Does this same issue happen with VST2? or only VST3 and AU?

Hi Logan, thanx for you help with this. In answer to your questions:

• Yes, it's only Serato Sample instances that play back with noise after reopening my DAW and loading my project(s)

• It happened with multiple projects, but not all of them.

• I've tried all types of plugins, and it happens with all of them.

Thanx again, hope you han find that bug and squash it, otherwise, Sample is simply the best sampling tool. period.
