Sequencer Updates in 2024

Will there be some update where we can sequence individual sounds/decks in the playlist?? That would make sequencing easier without having to go into each scene to make changes which is very time consuming.

Hey Jarvis Jennings,
We've been discussing this problem recently actually. Instead of being able to add individual decks to Song View to solve this issue, do you think if we added more Scene Tracks (so, more tracks you can drag Scenes down to) that this would work for you?
This means you could just make a Scene with nothing in it but hi-hats for example, and then layer it on top of your other Scene Track.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this approach vs just adding individual Decks to song view.
Cheers,
Logan.

Check the official websites of popular sequencer software or digital audio workstation (DAW) providers. Companies like Ableton, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, and others often provide release notes and announcements for software updates.
Follow Developer Blogs:
Developers often maintain blogs or news sections on their websites where they announce updates, new features, and improvements. Check these sources for the latest information.
User Forums and Communities:
Join user forums, online communities, or social media groups related to the sequencer software you are interested in. Users often share information about updates, issues, and new features.

Hi Jarvis,
It would be really great to have the option of separate scenes like tracks and then overlaying them. It would be awesome, but with the option of 32 or 64 sizes, please. The current [ 8 size ] are impossible with the style I use, with long introductions. Thanks, man, for your support! Wishing the great SERATO an incredible 2024!

在选择美国作业代写 www.baydue.com 机构的时候,可以适当的挑选超出自己水平的,但是最好不要过高,否则就很容易被查。

@Serato:
Is layering multiple scene track or add individual instrument (midi lanes) in the song view on the radar for development this year? This features would improving the workflow and creativity.

@robac that would take them to a whole new level imo. I have been hoping for that feature.

@Javris: Exactly that would be a whole new level.
I would like to know from the Team of Serato if this is still in the pipeline? For me as a User it wouldn't be a problem to wait a bit longer for this feature.

Yes that would be a very valuable addition for more precise editing as well as to combine with that comp recording would be great where you loop a section for someone to jam with and instead of one pass at recording it would save the while sequences of recordings you did with the loop and you pick the best one. Great ideas you guys

Hi, I'm a new user of Serato Studio and this functionality seemed obvious to me. The first time I launched serato studio, I was surprised that I couldn't arrange scenes one below the other in the song view - it's natural to add, for example, automation for different groups of scenes in the song view. For me, this is a big minus of the Serato Studio software - it's a bit like a demo version of DAW. I hope you will work on this, so look forward to this functionality and good luck!

@Serato Users:
I'm interested what's the favour of the community.
There are various Requests in this thread:
Option 1: Adding Multiple Scenes in the Songview (big up to kotlets for the image)
Option 2: Adding Midi Lanes without Scenes in the Songview
Option 3: Implementing Comp Recording in the Song View
@kotlets:
I wouldn't classify Serato Studio as a Demo of a DAW. It does a lot of things that other DAW's can't and most importantly in my case Inspirations are faster there, no clunky GUI. The DAW is also very young and I hope and think will develop further and further.

Very good summary of this topic!
Of course, the simplicity of Serato Studio is amazing. I love the sampling tool and the overall simplicity of the workflow. It works amazingly together with Serato Dj that I use. BTW I didn't want to offend Serato Studio developers at all with this grumpy statement, but this feature seemed sooo obvious to me :)
P.S. Thanks for praising my Paint skills ;)

Option 2 would be the Best. I think they should have different sequencing modes. One would be a scene mode and another to where each Decks Midi is in Songview and you can copy and paste to sequence. This will also allow them to easily make Automation more Intuitive

Yep, because the scene automation is muuuuuch better than the decks.

+1, coming from other DAW i also miss the possibility to layer more scenes in tracks in order to arrage in a more traditional way.
