Faulty Pioneer DJM-S7 Channel Fader - Out Of Warranty

My Channel 2 Fader is cutting in and out of audio when it is in full up position. I sprayed a quick blast of Deoxit Fader Lube and it worked well for about a week. There are some YouTube videos on repair. However, no mention of where to source the replacement fader.
Has anyone experienced this? Any experience with Authorized Pioneer Service Center? Where can I find the replacement fader?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

These spammers are annoying as hell.
Sell the djm-s7 bro, I've had multiple fail in the field. Multiple, since I have a few venues as clients and it's been a horrible experience dealing with pioneer to get them fixed.
I recommend either the s11 or the rane seventy mixer. Both installs of the rane seventy and s11 have been pretty solid.

The DJM S7 is terrible, they soldered the line faders to the board. Make sure to sell it after getting it fixed, and buy either an s9 or s11 which have easily replacable parts.
I also wouldn't recommend buying any rane hardware at this time because we don't know yet if those will be discontinued again once pioneer buys serato.

Thank you both. Very solid advice.
Major bummer. I love the layout of the S7 but always questioned the build quality.
The quote I received to replace both faders by an authorized Pioneer technician is reasonable. Strongly considering replacing it with a Rane 70. If Pioneer buys Serato, I won't upgrade Serato until all my Rane hardware dies.

It's a shame they had to cut corners on the S7, especially on something as basic as faders. If the part sites I've seen are to be believed, the S9, S11, and Rev7 all use the same upfaders meanwhile the S7 does not, and the difference in cost is not much at all.

You have to take the mixer apart desolder both channel fader's, use some 3m double sided tape 2mm thick cut two strips, place on the base of the faders ,then place faders back pressing on them so the tape grabs to the board then re solder works like a charm...

Nice!
As I'm not one to solder things myself. At my next repair, I'll have my guy do just that. Thanks for the info.

I've had mine for about a year, but I've only used it twice. . . It's good to know if I run into this.
