FEATURE REQUEST: Resample pitch mode for one-shots.

Hello everyone,

I decided to try creating beats in Serato Studio. But I encountered an issue using one-shots in the most suitable mode for this (in my opinion) — “resample” pitch mode. I was convinced I would find a discussion or feature request on this topic, but to my surprise, I found nothing, neither in the manual, nor on the forum, nor in the depths of the internet.

I really like how pitch sounds in Serato while maintaining tempo; Serato has a lot to be proud of, but there are situations when changing the pitch, I want to allow the sample to change its length naturally. This pitch mode is also called “resample mode” (not sure if this name is universally accepted or derived from a specific DAW), for now, the main thing is for you to understand what I'm talking about. For example, I want to program a 808 bass line. For this, I like to use one-shots. Currently, I load it into Serato, and it stretches when changing the pitch, which makes it sound not as I expect. This applies to instrument one-shots as well. Just in case someone suggests “program the bass with a synthesizer,” I'll immediately respond that it's not my method. Even if I synthesize the bass in a synthesizer, I still always render it with processing and program the pattern with the resulting one shot, then the sound of the pattern suits me better, but only in “resample” mode (with changing the sample length with pitch). In Serato, I didn't find such an option, but I really hope that Serato will add this pitch mode.

I would be glad to hear any thoughts on this matter. I would also appreciate everyone's support for this feature request. Just add a comment "+1" to show your support.

Respectfully, Alex.

P.S. Sorry my English, It's not my native language.
