I got AVERATEC 3200 Series, Athlon xp-m 2000+
1.5 Ghz, 256 MbRam, 40g HDD, 12" LCD
Windows Xp home, Usb buffer 5, works great on both CD Decks and Vinyl.
I have played it for 3 hours straight in a club last Tuesday and no issues. This Saturday I will stress it to 5 hours. Hopefully all goes great. I got my confidence on Serato. Where as with FS I was peeing my panties.

12" PowerBook 867 MHz 640MB Ram
15" PowerBook 1.25 GHz 512MB Ram
OS 10.3.4 on both using a 160GB Maxtor 8MB cache external drive with an Oxford 922 chipset.
I haven't used it for a club gig yet since I don't have my BPM's set. Still using MegaSeg for live performances. I need to find an app that will port my MegaSeg BPM --> SSL BPM.

after 3-4 hours the system is no longer stable cause the ibook becomes to hot.
That sucks, especially in a hot club. I've seen 'cooler plates' in PC stores - supposedly you put your laptop on one of those and it stays cool. I don't know if you have to plug 'em in or not, but it might be worth looking into.

great cooling system needs no plug just a USB and it has a port in the back so you wont lose a USB plug...
