I am not Austin but I am asking for help for him: He has Down Syndrome but LOVES music. He really wanted a DJ Mixer so I got him the Numark Mixtrack ProFX at the recommendation of one of the caregivers at his adult day program. Now I need help with software. Although severely disabled, he can learn and has a remarkable memory. His speech is very poor. His day program is awesome and created a rap video with him and put it on YouTube. Austin G's Peace Out.

Can anyone suggest a very simplified software? He will never be a professional DJ. This is just to give him more ways to express his love of music and dancing. I also got him a Tonor USB microphone for his computer. I'm not a computer whiz but hoping someone has some suggestions!

That's wonderful to hear about Austin's passion for music and his rap video! For a simplified DJ software that's user-friendly and suitable for beginners, here are a few recommendations: Serato DJ Lite is a great starting point for beginners, offering a clean and easy-to-navigate interface. The Lite version is free, with an option to upgrade to the Pro version if needed. Virtual DJ is another comprehensive option that remains accessible for new users, while Mixxx is a free, open-source DJ software that's compatible with a wide range of hardware and has a straightforward interface. Lastly, djay Pro is known for its intuitive interface, making it great for beginners. These options should help Austin explore his love for music and DJing in a fun and accessible way. Do you think any of these might work for him?
