when I press record and play my midi keyboard, Serato studio changes the grid

Anyone else have an issue with the grid option changing on them when you record your midi keyboard? I have tried multiple midi keyboards with the same issue, ill press record, start tapping in a beat and all of a sudden the grid option that says (x2) turns on and changes the amount of notes on whatever key I'm pressing. I have cleared and rest all mappings and tried again but with the same results. its like its receiving a x2 program change along with the midi note at the same time

To resolve the grid option changing unexpectedly when recording MIDI data, check MIDI keyboard settings, DAW www.hpinstantink-hp.com settings, close other software, and update firmware. If the issue persists, provide more details about your setup for further troubleshooting.

I've done all of those things and more, no luck
