Serato with Soundswitch

Hello all,
I am a newbie.
I have this question... I purchase a copy of Soundswitch to control lighting as it describes as syncing well with Serato. However, when I try to run them, I get a "Not Connected" to Serato - check expansion in settings
BUT - I am running Serato DJ lite which does not seem to have that setting. Do I have to have the full version of Serato to use with Soundswitch?

@Shawn, Thank you for that reply. I have upgraded to Serato Pro.

Now I seem to have another problem or question...
When I run the two apps, Soundswitch does not see Serato (shows not connected). The Soundswitch support says to check the preferences in Serato and be sure the soundswitch controller is listed in the "Serato Remote" section - But in Serato it says Serato Remotes have been discontinued.
I DO see the Soundswitch controller listed in the "External Control" section of the expansion packs....
What do I need to do to make them talk to each other??

In serato find a work with other apps on serato
this will be in settings on serato.
also Serato has instructions on there site with video.
