To my knowledge, if you use music streaming services in your set, you can not record it as you do NOT own the music.

I'm not using any streaming services and the music if from my crates

You need to enable access to the microphone in your settings.

I've checked all the access and permissions and it's still not working

Can you see the little dot in the top right of the app that confirms mic access?

Have a read through this and ensure all the steps are in place.

Yes I can confirm the little dot is at the top right to confirm mic access and I can get the recording panel up but just unable to press the REC button on the recording panel.

I think that might mean you don’t have the right source for the music maybe? It’s in that drop down list where you have to choose.

What hardware are you using?

Check your controller: Make sure your controller is powered, and try using a different USB cord or connecting to a different computer.
