Washer stopped working, need help with repair

My washer suddenly stopped mid-cycle, and now it won't start up again. I’ve checked the power and water connections, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know a good repair service in Winnipeg, or what could be causing the issue?

I had the same thing happen to my washer a while back. It turned out the motor was fried, but the repair service I called in Winnipeg was able to fix it. Was it expensive to fix the motor, or is that usually a costly repair? I’m not sure if I should go ahead with a repair or just replace the whole washer. Would love to know how much it cost you to get it fixed!
