Hello,
I was wondering if there are any plans to implement being able to midi map the start and endpoint of a cue point. The workflow would be having a midi controller where pads or keys are pressed to create a cue point (this is possible already) and then being able to map rotary encoders on the midi controllers that can adjust the start and endpoint of the current cue point. I would like this mapping to be general, so that when a new cue point is selected, the same encoders can always be used to adjust the start and endpoint.
This would make Serato Sample incredibly useful for chopping samples, which is the only feature I currently find any issues with. Currently, chopping a sample using a midi controller means I have to use the mouse anyways to fine tune the start and endpoints. This is quite frustrating as I need to hover on the waveform to see the zoom buttons, then zoom in by clicking, and set the start point. Then I have to zoom back out again, or scroll forever, to the endpoint and drag that around using the mouse too.
I apologize if this turns out to be a duplicate, I tried using the search function but it doesn't seem to work very well. Even copying and pasting the exact title of another suggestion in the search bar does not find that suggestion.
And finally I just want to add that Serato Sample is an amazing product, and thank you for taking the time to read this.
Best regards
