MIDI Map Rane Twelve MK II 3rd and 4th Deck to Pioneer DDJ-SP2 in DVS Setup?

To all the Serato MIDI gurus out there:
The club I work at has 2 Rane Twelve MKIIs, and a Pioneer DDJ-900 NXS. I bring my MacBook and a Pioneer DDJ-SP2 and connect everything via DVS. Everything works great except for 1 thing I can't figure out:
Is there a way to link the deck switch buttons on the Rane Twelve with my Pioneer DDJ-SP2? Right now, if I want to use Deck 3 or Deck 4, I have to switch it on the Rane turntable, and on the SP2 separately - 2 steps instead of 1. As you can imagine, this is kind of a drag in an open format environment. Is there a way to link the hardware so that when I switch to Deck 3 or Deck 4 on the turntables, it also switches the SP2 to the corresponding deck? Or vice versa?
Thanks for your help.

Just went through the whole thing. Didn't see anything that speaks to what I'm trying to do, but I'm not the most technically adept either.
Any assistance anyone can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

not possible. you can connect multiple midi devices but they dont know each other, so you cant trigger something on device 1 and expect things to happen on device 2.

Thought this might be the case. Thanks for confirming.
Anyone out there know a workaround, if one exists?

I highly doubt this is possible. In order for what you want to do, both the SP-1 and Rane 12 would have to “talk” to each other like SnipeStyle said.
I have the the SP-1 and XP-2, I’ll hook them up at the same time this weekend and see what I can figure out, but I wouldn’t be too optimistic lol

Hey Tom_T,
Sorry, but no luck.
Unfortunately DJ devices aren’t like typical music instruments with MIDI where there is an “in” and an “out” (and sometimes “through”) - they only have a port for MIDI in. If DJ controllers also had an “out”, I think it may have been possible to assign one of the devices as the master.

Thanks for trying. Something to add to Serato going forward. Thanks for your help. Greatly appreciated.
