Unfortunately smart CFX is a Rekordbox focussed feature and not so much a Serato feature, Pioneer have done this on purpose so more users will use their Rekorbox app instead of Serato. Pioneer have done this to many of their new controllers.

Too bad that something like this was not made known, I thought if Serato Label is on it then all function works.

I hear you, You feel bamboozled, into buying the controller, but its been a tactic of pioneer since the DDJ1000, It's pioneers tactic to gain more Rekordbox users.

These days you really have to google the hell out of any product before you buy, in that way your very clear about what your buying,

here's an example of Pioneer and Alphatheta tactic, you buy a new controller and you have instant access to Rekordbox use straight away, Pioneer, then delays the support for Serato,
its all about business :)
