Relocate Lost Files Broken

I was trying to update a Music Video crate on my second macbook tonight. On my First Macbook I created a crate called update. Dragged all the Music Videos I wanted on the second Macbook to the update folder then I command + a, copied them to a folder on the desktop (not checking remove original reference).
Now my crates on the first Mac that had those videos are missing because they somehow now point to the desktop folder I moved to the other mac. The Music Video Files are still in the same location. If I drag the original folder location to the relocate lost folders option it says 0 found. If I click relocate lost files it takes a bit then comes back same. Tried in Serato 2.6.2 and latest 3.x version.
Any suggestions?

are you using an external drive?
using a external drive is the best way, you can plug it into your 1st and 2nd mac and serato will not be confused, everything will work as it should,

I use external SSDs on my main Mac but the secondary Mac is only used at a family dining place where We have to tread carefully with music videos and there is only about 2200 Videos on an external. I didn't wanna clone my SSDs to the smaller Non SSD external.

thats where your going wrong, I suggest using your external hard drive for both macs, like i mentioned above Serato wont be confused.
organise your music, that means consolidating all your music to the external hard drive, then its easy as plug and play on any of your macs.
I guess it all depends if you have a big enough external SSD.
