There are a couple of issues with Serato Sample that make working with it not as intuitive as it could be. I'm wondering if anyone else has these issues:

- all settings are reset on dragging in a new sample. This is quite inconvenient as we need to make several clicks to set up the plugin for particular purposes, i.e. for percussion loops I need to set Auto Set Mode to "Set Slicer", turn off Pitch and Time, set the length to 1/2, set play mode to trigger and then hit Select All. That is 7 clicks every time I want to audition a new loop within the sampler. There should be an option to keep all current settings and auto slice newly dragged samples.

- Pitch and Time toggle is not exposed as a plugin parameter so we can't link it to a controller

- Find Samples is a black box which works for some samples but does not work well for many percussion and drum loops. We need an advanced or alternate mode where we control the transient threshold and re-trigger time.
