What Osx are you running serato dj pro

Hey guys, just wanted to see what OSX you guys running on your macs with serato dj? I updated to Sonoma but notice a drainage on battery. Anyone having the same issue of they updated to Sonoma or can let me know what OSX runs smoothly without battery drainage. Sonoma does run good with serato but the battery drainage is a thing. Thanks for any feedback

What Mac do you have? What OS did you upgrade from?

When you upgrade, sometimes you inherit a lot of cruft that's built up from the old OS. If you do a clean install, that tends to help bring new life to your older Mac. However, the older your Mac, the less "tolerant" is will be of a new OS.

OS upgrades tend to magnify existing issues as well, so if your machine is older, you probably have a lot more charge cycles than a new Mac.

Do you need to run your laptop on battery often? Especially with stems Serato is definitely not the most cpu friendly application. ;)

FWIW I find Sequoia runs a little better than Sonoma but YMMV.
