Moving from Serato to Rekordbox ?! Not Now !

I've been using Serato for almost 15 years and I thought I'd see how Rekordbox is with Opus Quad.
RB has a good sound, Beatgrid is almost perfectly better than on Serato and that's about it.
What I don't like is the Pitch Soft Take Over, it's absolutely annoying, you have to move the pitch fader up and down all the time when using Sync. Then there is that setting for Pitch Range, RB has 6, 10, 16 and Wide. It doesn't matter how much you set it to, because if you activate Sync, it automatically jumps to Wide and if you're not careful when you move the pitch fader, the song goes up or down a lot, becoming disturbing for the dancers. Why can't it stay at a fixed setting?!
Not to mention that about 3-4 times when it jumped to Wide, when I moved the pitch fader, the song started again from the first cue, and as a DJ at a wedding with a full dance floor, this is frustrating and humiliating. There is no such thing in Serato.
CMD + F does not search in the entire collection, only in the respective folder, which is annoying because you have to make several touches on the laptop, in Serato it is much simpler.
So, these things make me continue to mix with Serato.

Are you kidding , right ?
Sync isn’t about track beat matching , it’s about for perfect transition from 110 to 130 bpm , etc.

No, not kidding.. Seems like a huge limitation vs using the pitch fader as needed.

The problems you're talking about I've never experienced due to not using sync. I play from 70bpm to 174bpm in most of my sets. Sometimes the perfect transition doesn't need to be beatmatched either ;)

Don’t upset these guys, they are obsessed with automating themselves out of employment, the computer has to say yes 😉
