I have the Serato DJ Pro Suite installed, and have been using it for years without any issues.

A few months ago, I installed Serato DJ Lite thinking that I would need to use it for a piece of equipment, but I learned my install of DJ Serato Pro worked just fine.

I noticed that installing Serato DJ Lite resulted in a change in my library when I opened Serato DJ Pro. Tracks that I have already played were no long highlighted blue.

In an effort to avoid silly issues like this in the future, I would like to uninstall DJ Lite, but am wondering if doing this would cause any unforeseen issues with my Serato DJ Pro install.

Questions I have:

- Will uninstalling Serato DJ Lite cause issues with my library, or result in changes to the functionality of Serato DJ Pro (currently installed and working without issues)?
- Will simply moving the Serato DJ Lite application to the trash work and accomplish the goal of not dealing with future or unforeseen issues? - I'm hoping this is true, as I would prefer to be as less intrusive as possible.


Note: I always, and will be making multiple forms of backups just in case something weird goes wrong before doing this.
