I am trying to connect a laptop with Serato Lite with the Pioneer MEP 7000. No matter how I connect, Serato will not act as if there is a device connected. My son uses the same laptop with Serato on his Numark Party Mix just fine. I thought I'd check to see if it worked with my MEP I used in the past with just CDs and a hard drive...but nothing. The MEP still works just fine as I have been using it to play CDs all morning, but Serato just won't recognize that I have the MEP plugged in. All software for Serato and the MEP are up to date. I am also using a Pioneer DJM 5000 which also works fine when using CDs, just nothing with the laptop and Serato.

Any tips???
